According to the latest reports, the pressure has been taken off Ten Hagar after the 1-0 win over Burnley, with team defender Evans believing it will be a fresh start for the team.

The win against Burnley was Evans’ first start for the club since 2015, following his surprise return to his old club Manchester United in the summer. The 35-year-old had no trouble at all adapting to the pace of the game on the pitch and also scored a header before creating the winning goal for B Faye, which was unfortunately ruled out due to a teammate interfering with the goalkeeper.

The win over Burnley signaled United’s revival. I’m with Ten Hag.

After the game, the Northern Ireland international was confident about United’s League Cup tie with Crystal Palace this week. “I’ve had some up and down moments at United over the years,” he told reporters. “I think if you want to get to the top, you understand that. You know that ups and downs in form are normal for teams. You have to be able to deal with those setbacks, and this is a great club that always wants to get better, so that’s an essential part of it. Ten Hagar has done a great job here and he will help the team to achieve everything.”

Despite still playing for Leicester City last season, Evans has always been a United supporter, having twice traveled to Wembley with fans to watch the League Cup final and FA Cup final.

“As an avid Manchester United fan, I have watched them play many times over the last year and even attended both finals in person,” he further noted.” As I mentioned before, I thought Ten Hagar was excellent. I wasn’t nervous at all about facing Burnley, on the contrary, I was overwhelmed with excitement. I was full of anticipation before going in, I felt good and I felt well prepared.”
